Andrew Martin
Chair
Portfolio: Safety & Security
Andrew is an IT Entrepreneur, currently focussing on Cloud Backup Data Protection. He is heavily involved in neighbourhood security in Hout Bay, and a former Chair of the Hout Bay Neighbourhood Watch. In his spare time he is also a keen recreational pilot.
Janssen Davies
Portfolio – Natural & Built Heritage
Janssen is a retired CEO of a financial services group and dedicated environmentalist active on the Hout Bay Rivers Catchment Forum (Chairman), Western Cape Wetlands Forum (Steerco), WESSA (Board member); NGO Pure Wild Fund (Vice Chairman) and SANParks Honorary Rangers (Committee member on the Conservation Services National Project focussed on ranger support, anti-poaching, support for the Air Wing and Veterinary Wildlife Services). He is also the Chairman of the Berg En Dal Estate Home Owners Association Board of Trustees and Chairman of the White River Country Estate Home Owners Association. He lives seasonally between homes in Hout Bay and White River, Mpumalanga.

Worked for 23 years at the head office of an hotel group in Johannesburg. Moved to Hout Bay seventeen years ago. Joined the Friends of the Hout Bay Library as committee member and assisted at fortnightly book mending and book re-covering sessions. In the same year joined committee of HBRRA as secretary resigned 2/3 years later. Persuaded to return after a break of a couple of years and currently serving third term as secretary; an inaugural member of the HB Neighbourhood Watch and the daylight patrollers which involved fortnightly vehicular patrols with a partner and which we did for 11 years. Participated in a reading English to understand motivated by the HB Library. Currently also working as secretary for a charity (which has just had its 20 year celebration) – Friends of Child Protection
Stephen Foster
Stephen is an architect running his own small practice. He arrived in Hout Bay in August 1992 for a short term contract. He started his own practice in Hout Bay after the termination of this contract. Len Swimmer asked Stephen to assist with planning issues. He has been a part of the HBRRA for the last 10 years.
